BikeWear World L.L.C. partners with Mammoth Motocross!

uRide.tv will be the exclusive media for the Mammoth Motocross…

BikeWear World L.L.C. and uRide.tv just came off a 10 day road trip with Amgen’s Tour of California. “The experience was nothing like we expected,” says Sami Tauber, CEO of BikeWear World L.L.C. uRide.tv had videographers through every stage filming highlights of the energy it takes to put a race on of this caliber, the passion of the fans, the fight and courage the riders braved after hours and miles of riding. I knew this year was going to be fun and amazing, but I had no idea that we were going to have access and involvement with events of this caliber. This is like winning a free trip to Disneyland for kids. Honestly, it does not get much better than having the opportunity to film one of my favorite riders Mr. George Hincapie and my most favorite blue eyed actor, Mr. Patrick Dempsey. I think the best part of the whole experience is being able to re-live it through our videos. It was like saying goodbye after a 10day summer camp. The relationships we made on the road with fellow media members, AEG representatives, fans, athletes, local restaurant and hotel employees was an amazing experience. I highly recommend experiencing a few days on the road with this tour to anyone who loves this sport. Being out there enabled us to feel the love our industry still has for the sport of cycling and professional cyclists,” says Sami Tauber, CEO of BikeWear World L.L.C.

“Our next huge event will be partnering with Mammoth Motocross,” says Tauber. “Back in 1968, Don Rake and some friends decided to put on a motocross event in Mammoth Lakes, California. They built a world-class track 8,000 feet up in the Sierra Nevada Mountain range. Dave McCoy came along and offered the backing of his Mammoth Mountain Ski Area and the rest is history. Every summer racers have flocked to Mammoth Mountain for this classic event. It is the oldest continuous running motocross in the USA. The track has changed a little over the years, but the fun hasn't. Many of the top racers in the world have honed their skills at this event. There have been some epic battles over the years and many racers have made a name for themselves on this track. Riders like Ricky Carmichael, Jeremy McGrath, Rick Johnson, Johnny O'Mara, Broc Glover, Donny Schmitt, Steve Lamson, Gary Jones, Kevin Windham, David Bailey, Jeff Ward, Ron Lechien, Bob Hannah, James Stewart, Mike Bell, Donny Hansen and many more. It also has become one of the major amateur events in the country as well. You can see the factory riders of tomorrow racing in the mini classes at Mammoth today,” according to the race director. This event is scheduled from June 17-June 27, 2010.

With more than 2500 participants actively racing in the Mammoth Motocross, uRide.tv will be filming every day! Come on by and share the love and experience of riding!

BikeWear World L.L.C. partners with Amgen’s Tour of California!

uRide.tv will be the exclusive media for the “Breakaway Ride presented by Specialized” with Patrick Dempsey and George Hincapie…

BikeWear World L.L.C. and uRide.tv have been contacted by PacificSports L.L.C. and AEG to film the “Breakaway Ride presented by Specialized” with celebrity guest riders Patrick Dempsey and George Hincapie. “I knew this year was going to be fun and amazing, but I had no idea that we were going to have access and involvement with events of this caliber. This is like winning a free trip to Disneyland for kids. Honestly, it does not get much better than having the opportunity to film one of my favorite riders Mr. Hincapie and my most favorite blue eyed actor, Mr. Dempsey,” says Sami Tauber, CEO of BikeWear World L.L.C.

“Cycling enthusiasts and fans are invited to participate in "Breakaway Ride presented by Specialized,” two riding events held in conjunction with the upcoming 2010 Amgen Tour of California professional cycling race set for May 16-23, 2010. Both rides will be held in April 2010 to raise funds for Amgen's Breakaway from Cancer® initiative, which aims to raise awareness of the continuum of resources available from prevention to education, and patient care to advocacy and financial support. The Breakaway from Cancer nonprofit partners include the Prevent Cancer Foundation, Cancer Support Community (formerly The Wellness Community), Patient Advocate Foundation and National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship,” according to the director.

“Each ‘Breakaway Ride’ gives cycling enthusiasts the opportunity to ride the actual route of the 2010 Amgen Tour of California. Three distances will be offered for each ride to accommodate various skill levels; the longest distance covers the same route that the pros will ride (an entire stage). Riders will be chip timed and supported, with a maximum of 3,500 riders per event,” quoted from the race event director’s site breakawayride.com.

uRide.tv will be filming the stage 8 route, which is the preliminary event “Breakaway Ride presented by Specialized” prior to the actual Tour of California course, from Thousand Oaks/ Westlake Village/ Agoura Hills on April 11, 2010. “We actually are flying the plane up to Davis, California to do a dry run of aerial photography above the second “Breakaway Ride presented by Specialized” on April 25, 2010 to see if it’s prudent for the Tour of California in May,” says Tauber. “I am not sure if it will look cool above the peloton or on the road with the peloton. We are going to have fun with it, regardless. I can’t wait to see Mark Cavendish, George Hincapie, Rahsaan Bahati, Floyd Landis, Cesar Grajales, Carlos Sastre, Dave Zabriskie, Christian VandeVelde, Lance Armstrong and all the competition it’s going to bring right in our back yard! We don’t have to fly to France now to watch the greatest cycling legends battle it out,” says Tauber.

Once again, May, is probably the most exciting month for all riding enthusiasts. The FIM World Championships in Supercross will be held in Las Vegas and the Tour of California, which will be making its way from city to city, starting in Nevada City ending in Los Angeles. “We can’t wait! So link up and join us,” says Tauber.

BMX Nationals, Jax Bicycle Shops, Tour De Palm Springs and Lance Armstrong…

BikeWear World L.L.C. and uRide.tv kicked off 2010 with a bang, confirming an amazing line up of events and athletes for the next 4 months. “January and February started with the BMX Silver Dollar Nationals, video commercials with Jax Bicycle Shops, the race series at the Los Angeles Velodrome (inside the prestigious Home Depot Center, used in the 1984 Olympics), several Supercross series and interviews, the Tour De Palm Springs with Olympian Gold Medalist Kristin Armstrong, and that’s just the beginning! I can’t wait for this year,” says Sami Tauber, CEO of BikeWear World L.L.C.

“There seems to be more of an awareness and involvement in riding, sports and nutrition this year. The results are better levels of participation not only in races and at events, but support, volunteers, fans, viewers online and in our industry as a whole. It is a very exciting time. With professionals like James “Bubba” Stewart, Josh Hill, Jake Weimer, Kevin Windham, Lance Armstrong, Christian Vande Velde, Will Frischkorn, Steve Peat, Josh Bryceland, Jared Graves, Alise Post, Dominique Daniels and thousands of others out there pedaling towards their dreams, the next 4 months are going to be so cool!,” says Tauber.

Monumental events will be taking place within the sport disciplines of BMX, Motocross, Mountain Biking, Road Cycling, Track and Triathlons over the next few months. There is the Gran Fondo, a road ride in San Diego, the Solvang Century, the Tuscon Bike Classic, BMX nationals in Phoenix, the Southridge Mountain Biking series, the kick off to the triathlon season in La Quinta, the San Diego Triathlon, Ironman 70.3 Oceanside. April also has the Ironman 70.3 Texas, Superfrog Triathlon, Newport Beach Triathlon, the San Diego Custom bike show, the Alpine Tour with celebrity riders and BMX nationals in Bakersfield.

May, is probably the most exciting month for all riding enthusiasts though. The FIM World Championships in Supercross will be held in Las Vegas. Riders alike will all be anticipating the return of the Tour of California, which will be making its way from city to city, starting in Nevada City ending in Los Angeles. Several professional cyclists will be pedaling to prove that cycling is absolutely alive and very strong. The fan participation is expected to be at an all time high.

uRide.tv has plans to fly over the peloton, capturing aerial footage and interviews with the athletes after in the press conferences. Stay tuned!

June is prime racing season for triathlons and Ironman events. uRide.tv has also made arrangements to fly through Colorado, visiting the Olympic Training Center, interviewing the Olympic Triathletes, bike shops, bike manufacturers, making the way up north to Idaho for the Ironman.
